Much awaited Apple tablet was launched on 27 January 2010 as Apple iPad. iPad is an Apple initiative to bridge the gap between the mobile phone and laptop. With Apple iPad you can browse internet, check emails, share photos, watch videos, play music, find maps, read ebooks, and do many more things.
Apart from the bizarre name, the iPad disappointed the tech crowd in many ways. The very first thing that is conspicuous by its absence is the camera. Nearly all laptops these days sport a web cam and all of us are so used to video chat which will not be possible with iPad
Apple claims the iPad to be a great web browsing device. In fact, Apple CEO Steve says “iPad offers the best web browsing experience that is-way better than laptops”. But the iPad web browser ‘safari’ doesn’t support Flash. This means you cannot see the flash contents of the web. Several big websites like CNN and BBC are using Flash contents these days. So you can not say that iPad provides a full web experience. If you want to browse flash websites, you will have to consider a laptop rather than the iPad.
A funny video titled ‘Hitler responds to the iPad’ has become very popular on net. You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQnT0zp8Ya4.
